Dr. T. A. Bada
Dr. T.A Bada an associate professor in the department of Educational Technology and Library Studies of the university became a lecturer in the department in the year 1994. He is currently the head of department. He had taught nearly all the courses in the department both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He is having over thirty publications in reputable journals both locally and internationally. His area of specialization is Information Technology and Teachers education. He had supervised several students thesis at the Master’s and Doctoral level.
His publications include the following: effects of mediated flip chart on learners acquisition of drawing skills; effects of visual illustration on learners acquisition of Fine Arts concepts in Junior Secondary Schools; improvisation of Art materials from local sources: problems and prospects; effects of video – taped instruction on teaching and learning of creative Arts in selected Secondary schools; importance of information, communication and technology among Nigerian youths; computer instructional approach to the teaching of sculptural education; usage of information communication technology in Nigeria primary schools: problems and prospects; towards effective utilization of the mass media to improve the quality of instruction in schools; awareness and utilization of internet facilities among students of Osun state colleges of education; information communication technology and public school administration in Osun state.
Findings from his research works have provided information on how to solve some of the challenges of teaching Fine and Applied Arts at higher institutions of learning in Nigeria.
